Winton Baptist Church is taking the lead on the collection of these items. They will be transporting them to Red Springs. If you would like to bring those items to the office please do so Monday through Thursday 8:00 to 5:00. If you would prefer to take them to Winton Baptist please do so Monday through Friday 9:00 to 5:00. Please call or text Pastor Derik prior to coming to the church at 252-377-3568. Winton plans to leave September 22 to transport the items we have collected. OUR DEADLINE FOR HAVING THE ITEMS HERE AT THE MRC IS WEDNESDAY SEPTEMBER 20.
This is of course just the beginning. They will need PRAYER of course, volunteers (watch the emails or go baptistonmission.org for updates and for registration), and funds (which can be donated through the association marked Texas Relief or directly to baptistonmission.org). Also remember as you give to the BSCNC state missions offering next month a portion of it will help pay for the supplies for our feeding units as well as other important Disaster relief needs. Giving to the state missions offering is very important. Of course giving to the association through your monthly budget offerings also helps us assist both here and in places like Texas. Remember giving is a hallmark of Southern Baptist Life and when we collective do so God is honored.
PLEASE PASS THIS ON TO YOUR CHURCHES ON SUNDAY!!. Also remember Saturday and Monday we will be making a big push to finish two of the homes in Windsor. Please encourage your folks to participate. Call Allen Harris for details at 536-9701 and check our website.
Please remember to check your emails for further updates as they arrive.
