6/1/2022:
Hello Team,
I pray that you are doing well and that you are seeing God bless in many ways as He uses you to His glory.
Urgent Mission Team Needs
- Hungary - Jason Ballard recently committed to leading a team to lead an English Bible Camp in Hungary on July 14-24. This is an outstanding part of Baptists on Mission's Roma Partnership. Alicia Jones is our coordinator in Hungary. You would be teaching English to over 100 students in a Hungarian school using Bible stories to do so. This is a phenomenal open door for the gospel. Jason needs a team of 10 - 12, so there is room right now for you to join him. Please contact Jason at 704-482-3472 or jason_ballard622@yahoo.com for more information.
- New York City - Graffiti 2 Ministry in NYC has just had a team cancel that was planning to lead a baseball camp on July 11-15. They are a very strong church plant in the city. If you have a team that can respond to this opportunity, please contact our friend Andrew Mann at amann@sendrelief.org.
- Armenia - I am excited to take a team to lead pastors' conferences in Armenia on September 4-15. We will do two conferences, one for pastors from the south (please ask me for more detail via phone), and one for Armenian pastors. There is still some room. We want to purchase tickets soon before airfares go up. If interested please contact me as soon as possible.
Ukraine Crisis
We are still providing bread to thousands of Internally Displaced People (IDPs) in Ukraine for $1 per person per day. All donations are used for response to this crisis, so please consider joining this support team by making your most generous donation at:https://baptistsonmission.org/ukraine-crisis/donations
Associational Meetings and Church Missions Emphases
Our staff would be honored to share at your associational meetings or at your churches. If you could allow Baptists on Mission to share a short update and challenge at your summer or fall meetings, we would love to do so. With the NC Missions Offering (NCMO) emphasis coming in September, we would like to celebrate the involvement of NC Baptists and invite churches to participate in 2022. We still have many churches who do not realize that 100 % of the regular budget for Baptists on Mission comes from the NCMO and not from the Cooperative Program. Churches play a vital role in Disaster Relief, Partnerships, Mobile Dental and Health Ministries, Deep Impact, and more through the NCMO.
If you would like a speaker for a church or for your associational meetings please let me know and we will be honored to share what God is doing so that we can celebrate together.
In His service,
Paul Langston
