See how God is working in West Chowan!
After attending the Gospel Conversations Training on May 14, 2022, Candace Parker shared the following wonderful testimony:
Hello,
I wanted to thank everyone for the presentations & food we enjoyed on May 14.
I took away so much from the different programs that has already been useful in sharing the Gospel.
The extra bracelets for The Four were sitting on my kitchen table and I was praying about opportunities. School is out for the summer & I have started keeping my great grandson several days each week while his Nana, Rochelle Parker, is working.
Lawrence is an active and curious eight-year-old; and the bracelets soon caught his interest. He's been going to RAs and has talked to our pastor, John Porter, about salvation.
He wanted one. So I told him he could have one if he could memorize The Four points and their symbols. He immediately took up the challenge; and he is now in possession of a bracelet.
We made a little video of his sharing. Rochelle said that I may share it with you.
I hope that it encourages y'all as much as it has us. Lawrence went forward this past Wednesday to make his profession of faith.

Rev. Matt Miles: On April 30th, 2022, Powellsville Baptist Church had a Free Community Hot Dog Meal. We have been waving on Sunday mornings and wanted to further our outreach to our local community. We gave out 125 meals to any who came through our drive through. Each meal contained an invitation to come join us for service. We had 18 Church Members participate and it was a great success! What a time of fellowship together and an opportunity to meet some friends! We praise God for his provision and pray for more opportunities to reach people for Jesus!

Winton Baptist hosted a community breakfast following the service. Our 11:00am service was well attended also, with 75 joining us for Easter! We also celebrated believers baptism for a young man who recently gave his life to Christ!

Severn Baptist 2019 VBS, "Into the Wild":
The VBS program comes with skits, but we decided to replace some of them with our own. One of them incorporated a little apologetics for VBS and the kids really loved it. Feel free to imitate it if desired, or just enjoy watching the kids enjoy this five minute skit (it was recorded on an iphone and we put it on YouTube):
