Dear N.C. Baptists,
Once again, you have demonstrated your generosity and commitment to taking the gospel to the ends of the earth.
North Carolina once again led all state conventions in giving to both the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering and the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering for the recent SBC fiscal year that ended Sept. 30.
During
the 2020-2021 fiscal year, N.C. Baptists gave more than $12.8 million
to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for international missions and
nearly $6.9 million to the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering for North
American missions. Every single dollar given to these special offerings
goes directly to support missions efforts all around the world.
N.C.
Baptist churches have more missionaries on the field than any other
state, and your generosity not only keeps them on the field, but it also
enables us to send even more with the life-saving message of Jesus. In
addition, these gifts allow us to continue to lead in sending church
plants around the United States.
These
totals reflect your ongoing commitment and generosity for the sake of
the gospel. N.C. Baptists have led the way in Lottie Moon giving every
year for the past 15 years and ranked first in Annie Armstrong giving in
all but two years during that span. Praise God!
N.C.
Baptists, this is what it means to be a movement of churches on mission
together. Your generosity and faithfulness are making a difference in
making Jesus known in North Carolina, North America and around the
world. Thank you for being on mission together.
On Mission Together,
