NEW MINISTRY TRAINING RESOURCES
I am excited to make you aware of some new resources I am making available to you and your churches. Thom Rainer, of Church Answers Ministry, is a great resource for church life and provides great research as well as resources for churches. I have been able to secure, on my own, the following resources I believe will be very relevant as we navigate reopening and redoing ministry in the Post COVID world:
- The book, written by Thom Rainer, dealing with and titled “The Post Quarantine Church” is now available. He outlines 8 facts, through serious research, that many did not see coming as a result of the Pandemic. The podcast on this subject and book is on his website “churchanswers.com” and is an outstanding look at the realities of church here in 2020 and beyond. Training on this will be available very soon.
- Available now, through our office, are digital resources (which are downloadable) concerning the following areas of ministry regardless of the size of your church:
- 4 Steps to Revitalizing Your Church – This resource deals with the care
of your church. Quoting Thom Rainer, “This resource is more than online
training, it is an online consultation where Thom Rainer helps you move
your church from flatlined to flourishing.”
Breaking
Barriers (32 available lessons) – Churches are called to be
outward-focused. In this series of 16 online lessons, Dr. Rainer
discusses what barriers churches face and the techniques for breaking
those barriers.
- Deeper Dive – According to Dr. Rainer, “Pastors face a range of issues that impact staffing (both paid and volunteer), church safety, membership, and so much more. Church leaders are rarely ready to face difficult circumstances but you can prepare.” Great resource.
- Eight Steps to Creating a Dynamic and Highly Beneficial New Members’ Class – Dr. Rainer ask the following question and makes a comment: “Do your members understand what being a member in your church involves? Watch this online course to learn how to communicate expectations, church vision, and church life.”
- Invite
Your One (this is not to be confused with “Who’s Your One) - Most
people visit a church because someone invited them. In this online
course, Dr. Rainer walks you through how to move your church from inward
to outward and have an inviting culture.
